Fort Collins locations:

Animal House: Animal House is a non-profit animal shelter that is looking for volunteers or foster homes for their animals. You can go to their website to fill out a volunteer form!

Front Range Exceptional Equestrians: F.R.E.E. is a therapeutic riding center that relies completely on volunteers! No horse knowledge is required to become a volunteer. Call for more information or go online and fill out the volunteer application form.

Larimer Humane Society/Wildkind The Humane Society has many different opportunities for volunteers. You could help out with anything from animal photography, to helping in the kennels, aiding with their wildkind program or helping to set up events and fundraisers. You can also apply to become a foster parent for any of their cats and dogs.

Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center
The Mission of the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center is to promote the physical, psychological and social well-being of persons with disabilities through their interaction with a therapeutic team consisting of a horse, an instructor and/or a therapist, and volunteers. Volunteers at CTRC serve as horse leaders and side walkers in our therapeutic riding and hippotherapy sessions for children and adults with disabilities. Training is provided.

Duncan’s Place: This organization is a non-profit cat sanctuary dedicated to aiding homeless casts in Northern Colorado by providing a save haven for homeless cats until they find a loving family to adopt them. This is a newer organization that has no specific volunteer requests as of now. However they could always use your help! Send them an e-mail or give them a call to volunteer your time. This organization rescues and rehabilitates former laboratory animals. With a little hard work they aim to find loving homes for all their animals.
